DT-47723 is used with a hydraulic press to install the output shaft bearing cone, 1/2 synchronizer hub, 3/4 synchronizer hub, 5/6 synchronizer hub, and reverse gear onto the main shaft and counter shaft. The component being installed is placed over the shaft being serviced, and DT-47723 is placed over the components. The hydraulic press is used against DT-47723 to seat the components onto the shafts.
