For General Motors. F, C/K, 4L60E A new larger converter (300mm) is used on the 4L60E. The turbine shaft diameter was also increased proportionately. Current end play check tools that attach to the end of the shaft are now too small. Position J 43205 in the groove on the end of the turbine shaft then attach J 24773-A End Play tool. Turn the forcing screw against the end of the shaft. Install J 8001 dial indicator with the attachments to one of the pump bolt holes. Move the assembly up/down to determine assembly end play.
